"If you have not had a pint of Guinness on a Summer's Day standing outside Kehoe's you have never experienced the real Dublin " - so said Living Dublin and I have to agree with them. One of our cities's great heritage pubs, as you walk through the Victorian stain glassed doors you feel like you've stepped into the 19th Century. Beautifully preserved, it still retains the dividing wooden panels, the mahogany counter, the snugs, antique cash registers, the old serving hatch and buzzer and behind the original grocery counter mahogany drawers that once held rice, tea and other provisions. I personally love the bar upstairs, which I can only describe as being like your granny's good room, you know the one you were only allowed in on your First Holy Communion Day ... This charming pub is timeless !!
